The report finds that worldwide motherboard application IC market volume, which saw three consecutive sequential declines in the previous three quarters since fourth quarter of 2009, witnessed a sequential growth but still suffered from a year-on-year decline in the third quarter of 2010. The market volume is expected to have dropped slightly in the fourth quarter of 2010.
